Will Wooten for Georgia Court of Appeals

MEET WILL WOOTEN

Will Wooten has built his career on a simple principle: the law must apply equally to everyone. Throughout his career in public service, Will has fought to protect the rule of law and the constitutional rights of all Georgians. Especially now, when so many feel the system favors establishment insiders and powerful special interests, our courts must remain a place where the Constitution guarantees the individual rights and freedoms of every citizen.

Will was raised to stand up for others, treat people fairly, and leave his community better than he found it. He began his career as a defense attorney, fighting to protect the constitutional rights of his clients. He later became a prosecutor, taking on gang members, sexual predators, and domestic abusers before leading complex cases targeting corruption and organized crime. Throughout his career, Will has never hesitated to confront powerful interests while working to protect the safety and constitutional rights of all Georgians.

Today, Will serves as a veteran prosecutor in Atlanta, where he has worked on some of Georgia's most complex and high-profile cases. Through that work, he has seen firsthand how appellate court decisions determine whether the law is applied fairly and whether even the most powerful are held accountable. Will believes that judges must remain firmly grounded in the law—not politics—when deciding issues that affect millions of Georgians.

Will is running for the Georgia Court of Appeals because he believes judges must be independent, principled, and loyal to the Constitution. When the rights of everyday Georgians are threatened or ignored, the courts must stand as the last line of defense for individual liberty and the rule of law.

Because in Georgia, justice should never depend on power, position, or political influence.
